The latest additions to two different HUT programs can now be found in packs. Patrick Marleau is the newest addition to the Milestone program, where EA awards an upgraded card to players that have passed a significant career milestone. Marleau recorded his 500th assist last night, however it was not enough as his San Jose Sharks were defeated by the Columbus Blue Jackets 5-4. The other new card players can hope to find is packs is Hockey Fights Cancer Scott Hartnell. Its not clear what the decision process behind players getting this card is, but Hartnell put up 4 assists in his team's victory. Check out EA's announcement tweet here.

EA has released into packs Milestone Nicklas Backstrom as well as Hockey Fights Cancer Sean Couturier. Many players expressed surprise upon seeing these cards, as there has been no announcement as of the time of this writing on either EA's twitter or in the game mode itself. Its likely these cards will be in packs for 24 hours only, seeing as that has been the norm for these programs, but as stated earlier there still has been no official announcement.

The latest batch of Team of the Week cards is live in packs! Every Wednesday at 7:00pm CT EA releases new Team of the Week cards. The latest Hockey Fights Cancer card has been released in packs. Taylor Hall is the latest recipient, awarded to him after his clutch penalty shot in his teams overtime victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning. Hall's penalty goal put the Oilers up 2-1, helping his team end the night with their first win of the season. EA's announcement tweet indicates that he will only be available in packs for 24 hours.

EA has just announced the third content update for NHL 15. Before the game was released, EA announced that additions would be released in the form of free periodic content updates. These updates would bring minor changes (such as updated jerseys and menu changes) as well as huge gameplay and game mode additions. This update brings a large addition in the form of Online Team Play, where you can participate in 5v5 ranked matches. Rookie Draft was added to the Be A GM mode, where players can now participate in the NHL Entry Draft. A bunch of presentation and gameplay changes have been added as well, and you can check out the full list of improvements here. The following is all of the changes related to HUT that are being released with this update:
Fixed crash issues that can occur when sending a won item from the auction house to your Collection.
Fixed a hang during matchmaking search in Versus.
Users are now able to change auction prices faster.
Users that lose their connection to their opponent will be returned to HUT.

For the third straight day, EA has released a new Hockey Fights Cancer card. This time LA Kings goalie Jonathan Quick gets the award after helping his team to a record tying 32nd shutout win over the St. Louis Blues. To date the Hockey Fights Cancer program has released three cards in three days, with two of those being goalies. It will be interesting to see if EA will continue to release cards in this new program daily. According to EA's announcement tweet, this card is available for a limited time only.

EA announced the latest addition to the Hockey Fights Cancer program. Jonas Hiller gets the award this time after recording 49 saves in the 2-1 Calgary Flames win over the Chicago Blackhawks. Its still unclear whether EA plans to treat this program in a similar manner as the Player of the Game program, or if they have their own unique criteria for a player getting the upgrade. Another Wednesday, another Team of the Week update. As always you can find these players in packs the week that they are released. Its worth noting that Zachary Sawchenko's Team of the Week card has made a return appearance in this week, although there are no changes made to the card. Check out EA's announcement tweet here.
The first card in the Hockey Fights Cancer series dropped today alongside the Team of the Week content. Jamie Benn of the Dallas Stars gets the first card in this series. EA revealed that this card will only be available in packs for 24 hours. Its unclear still if we can expect Hockey Fights Cancer cards to coincide with Team of the Week content every week, or if it will be released more spontaneously.

EA has announced the latest Milestone cards to be added into NHL 15. Unlike previous Milestone cards where EA released the upgraded card one at a time, this time two players have been given the Milestone card treatment. Daniel Sedin gets his card after gaining his 500th assist of his career. Meanwhile, Daniel Briere earned his card by scoring his 300th goal of his career.
The Double Daniels can only be found in packs for 24 hours according to EA's announcement tweet.
